For your body, muscles, and health we want to shine a light on some of the simple habits that can go a LONG way in your body’s recovery and repair- and this is the final “Tips for GAINS Tuesday”!

We couldn’t let this topic go by without addressing the MOST important, yet simple habit:

Sleep!

We recommend going to “outlift.com” and reading the thorough article “How to Optimize Sleep for Muscle Growth”

But let’s start with these tips:

-Quite your mind before you go to bed. You can do this by taking a relaxing hot shower.

-Give yourself enough time to “wind down” - dimming lights or using candles, and avoiding screen-time before bed helps!

-Don’t drink caffeine after morning-time, and avoid drinking alcohol late at night.

-Cover small LED lights shining in your room as you sleep, and invest in black-out curtains.

-Even cooler temperatures assist in high-quality sleep.

-Most importantly, create a Sleep Routine that works for you and stick to it- it’s beneficial to your body to have a series of “triggers” to train yourself for bed.
