Check out the pics from 22.3 I hope next year we have even more people register for the Open! There are categories for everyone.
Congratulations to Kim Ballance, who came in 46/2058 in 50-54, Scaled And to Mike Bickford for his 320th place finish in his age group. As an RXd competitor, he qualifies, as of this writing, for the next step-- the Age Group Online Qualifiers beginning March 24th
And then there's Paul who happens to be the oldest athlete in his category and performed better than others half his age!
Strong work!
Next up: Level Method Assessment-- the mini version. *April 4-10*
We will have a mini-assessment in April focusing on the main lifts-- Back Squat, Front Squat, Deadlift, Press, Push up, and Bench. I think with the Open workouts, many of us have a good idea of what we need to work on, but it's also useful to know exactly where our lifts are so that I can start assigning percentages to our strength sessions. The first week in April you'll see them on the Big Screen. Saturday and Sunday will serve as make-up days.
At the end of this month/early April, you'll be assessing Squat Endurance and Lactic Tolerance.
Bring a Friend Week *last week of April*
You can always bring a buddy to a workout with you, but we will have a whole week dedicated to your friends. They'll be set up with a 10 Day Trial and the Balanced Habits Boost program, which is the "light" version of our Kick Start. Expect to see event info after Easter. By the way-- the next 8 Week MegaPot Challenge will happen in mid-May.
XY Games *June/July*
This will be a leveled and friendly male/female partner competition. I am hoping that I can get a few more somewhat local or possibly not-so-local Level Method Gyms to do it with us!
Here is an ebook for you, too!
Enjoy!
