Everyone’s body is different, so everyone’s physical strengths and weaknesses are different!

But that’s easy to forget - and we might compare ourselves to others in unhelpful ways…

Great news: Your Level on the MAP is an excellent way to measure YOUR OWN fitness and progress. Because your Level keeps you focused on YOUR fitness, YOUR goals, and illuminating clearly YOUR weaknesses and strengths.

But a person’s fitness is not just determined by physical feats- those are just easy to measure because they are material, tangible, you can see it with your eyes.

Sometimes the metrics we can’t see with our eyes are even MORE important than what’s on the surface, because those “hidden” markers greatly influence the physical ones.

Like emotional fitness!

Rundown these Emotional Fitness check-points:

-Notice your reactions and emotions (like what makes you sad or angry)

-Express &  release your emotions in healthy ways (communicating, dancing, journaling)

- Reflect before you speak or act in a way you might regret #takeapause

-Deep breathing, meditation, and exercise help  manage stress

-Make time for play in your life, as well as work

- Healthy diets + sufficient sleep can’t be beaten!

-Keep positive connections to others & smile at others

-Do what brings you joy, what feels meaningful to you

- Forgive yourself and others- we are human after all.

What’s your emotional fitness level?

Being objective about it, what is one area of Strength, and one area of “weakness” / opportunity for growth? Time to #levelup !
